Master Bedroom Concept

I’m working with a client right now and we have been decorating her new home. It has been so much fun! Right now we are almost finished with her master bedroom. We have selected, ordered and placed almost all if the pieces – but we still have not decided on a rug. The look for her bedroom is soft, soothing and a beautiful space to relax at the end of a long day. We opted for furniture with slightly darker than natural wood tones (but we wanted the wood look). The headboard is upholstered with tufting details and a wingback which adds so much presence in the room. The table lamps and accent mirrors will be flanking the bed for his and hers plus balance in the room. The bedding is slighting more feminine with a modern floral motif but the grey and white tones keep it looking gender neutral. The soft pop of lavender adds a splash of colour but it is soothing.

So this is where we are a bit stuck. There are so many options that we love and we just have not decided on one area rug yet. The floors in the bedroom are a medium stained oak hardwood. The area rug will not cover the hardwood completely but area rugs always help to define and anchor a space.
